L'abri de Combe-Grenal is a prehistoric shelter located in the Dordogne department, on the territory of the commune of Domme. The shelter belongs to a private person and is not accessible.

History: The Combe-Grenal shelter has been known since the beginning of the 19th century. The Cave of Combe-Grenal has been the subject of numerous studies:

Edward Lartet and Henry Christy, in 1864, Louis Capitan and Denis Peyrony, about the beginning of the 20th century, Denis Peyrony and Élie Peyrony, in the early 1930s. They did a limited search of the site, François Bordes, between 1953 and 1965, whose work placed the cave among the most important French deposits of the Middle Paleolithic by its archeo-stratigraphic sequence with a long succession of human occupations. The shelter was classified as historical monuments on 18 July 1911.

Physical description: The cave of Combe-Grenal is located in a small valley on the left bank of the Dordogne, east of the village of Domme.
