chapelle Notre-Dame-de-l'Isle de Goudelin
Location: The chapel is located in the territory of the commune of Goudelin, in the department of Côtes-d'Armor, in Brittany.
The chapel houses the statue of Notre-Dame de l'Isle, made of polychrome wood, and that of Saint Eloi, the patron of the blacksmiths and the protector of horses. Inside is Guillaume de Goudelin's and Marie de Portztrévenon's gissant. And three paintings by the briochin painter Raphael Donguy, painted in 1859: The Annunciation; Descent of the Cross framed by two angels; The Coronation of the Virgin.
In the bell tower, a bronze bell with an inscription in Roman characters.
History: Henri Froutier de La Messelière drew a drawing of the chapel Notre-Dame-de-l'Isle, partly dating from 1907 and partly from 1931.
