The Notre-Dame du Paradis Chapel is a building located in Pommerit-le-Vicomte, France.
Location: The chapel is located in the territory of the commune of Pommerit-le-Vicomte, in the department of Côtes-d'Armor, in Brittany.
Description: The chapel represents a complete and intact type of Breton constructions of the 15th and 16th centuries, on a simple rectangular plane. The chapel, which depended on a viscount whose seat was in the village of Pommerit, had to be built at the beginning of the sixteenth century. Rectangular plan building. Side berry splinters no longer exist. Calvary, which depended on the former cemetery that had disappeared, remains only the base decorated, at its upper part, of the twelve apostles.
History: The chapel began in 1398, completed in 1415, renewed in 1721 and repaired in 1819. This last intervention was possible by subscription of about 4,000 francs at the time and by a quest. It has been classified as a historic monument since 1912, while the stone calvary was classified in 1913.
