The cross covered with Bassignac-le-Haut is a French cross in Bassignac-le-Haut, in Corrèze.
The cross is located near the church, on the site of the old cemetery.
History: The building probably dates from the 15th or 16th century. A tradition ties the monument to the Abbey of Aubazine. The cross has been a listed historical monument since December 17, 1923.
The cross is protected by a roof. On one side, Christ is depicted with St John (or St Peter and St Michael) and the Virgin. On the other side is a pieta, with Madeleine and Saint John. Angels recover the blood of Christ. The cask of the cross is square and consists of three scenes of the life of Christ figurated on each of its faces. 12 prophets are located on the corners.
