The Biochet-Bréchot Museum is a museum in Caudebec-en-Caux, Seine-Maritime The museum is located in the so-called "Templar House" XII and XIII century, perhaps because it served as a Protestant temple at the time of the Reformation. It escaped total destruction in 1940, probably thanks to its stone structure and then restored by an association. It is one of the few Norman houses of such an ancient medieval era.
This local museum of history and archaeology tells, among other things, the story of René Guilbaud's Latham 47 expedition to the Barents Sea with Amundsen, which also presents a Viking sword dredged in the Seine and a collection of chimney plates. Ranked MH since 1889.
