Location: The building is located in the French department of Orne, south of the agglomeration of Alençon, on the left bank of the Sarthe, at Nos. 108 and 110 of Rue du Mans.

The facades and roofs as well as the two hemicycle portals of the chapel have been listed as historical monuments since 24 March 1975.
