The castle of the Dukes of Alençon, the center of the county and then of the Duchy of Alençon, is a former castle of the late 12th century, whose remains stand on the territory of the French commune of Alençon in the department of Orne, Normandy. The remaining buildings built, around 1400, by John I was converted to the Revolution, a function which he retained until 2010. The remains of the old castle are classified as historical monuments by the list of 1862.
