église Notre-Dame d'Hubert-Folie
The Notre-Dame d'Hubert-Folie Church is a Catholic church located in Hubert-Folie, France.
Location: The church is located in the French department of Calvados, in the commune of Hubert-Folie.
History: The building dates from the 12th and 13th centuries. The patronage belonged to the abbey of the Men of Caen. The building has been listed as historic monuments since 4 October 1932.
Architecture: Arcisse de Caumont considers that the church "provides some interest and deserves to be preserved." The choir is a novel and has buttresses. The tower is from the 13th and is finished in a building. At the base of the tower is a door with trilobe and tympanum decorated with a lamb. The nave wall has modillons. Work affected the building in modern times, with the construction of a sacristy in particular. Arcisse de Caumont points to a modern altar altar altar table, especially from the seventeenth century, as well as traces of frescoes in the shape of an apparatus "as in Rucqueville and in many other churches of Calvados".
