About

Location: The menhirs are located at the place called Kerdriellan, on the municipality of Belz.

Description: About 60 layers make up the whole. Menhirs are cut into the gneiss and have been well preserved in their original sedimentary environment.

History: Menhirs date from Neolithic (IIth millennium BC). They are probably overturned as early as the recent Neolithic, according to, for the most part, a northwest / southeast direction. Analysis of the remains also determined a second subsequent occupation, in the Middle Ages, in an agricultural setting. Some menhirs are then partly debited and exploited as such. The site was discovered in 2005 through a site development project. He received a partial search campaign (3,000 m2) the following year by the INRAP services. Menhirs are classified, together with the land on which they are based, as historical monuments by decree of 19 March 2008.
