musée Quesnel-Morinière
The Musée Quesnel-Morinière is a museum of fine arts and archaeology in the city of Coutances, located at number 2 of the street of the same name, not far from the cathedral, and is classified as Musée de France. Most of its collections include paintings by local artists from the 17th century to the 20th century, graphic works of art, sculptures, ceramics or pottery typical of the region and objects from local excavations. The names Quesnel and Morinière recall those of the spouses who were the former owners of the building housing the museum.
