musée d'Archéologie nationale
The Musée des Antiquities nationales, created in 1862 and became the Musée d'Archéologie nationale et domaine nationale de Saint-Germain-en-Laye in 2009, is a museum dedicated to the archaeology of France. It also presents a rich collection of comparative archaeology from the five continents. It is housed in the castle of Saint-Germain-en-Laye (Yvelines), restored by Eugene Millet, student of Eugene Viollet-le-Duc, to accommodate the exhibition halls of the museum.
