About

Saint Peter's Church is a Roman Catholic church located in Pontlevoy, France. His roof is made of stones. The church, which is embedded in the grounds of the abbey, had to precede the present abbey, built in the 15th century.

An inscription in the north crusillon of the church dates back to the 11th century the foundation of the chapel dedicated to Saint John the Baptist. The choir and much of the transept were redone in the 15th century. The current nave dates from 1862.

The oldest part includes the transept, with its apsidiole, the choir and the bell tower rising on the cross of the transept. In the corner of the choir and the south crusillon rises a 15th century polygonal staircase tower, leading to the bell tower.
