The Church of St. Felix of Sigean, is dedicated to the patron saint Felix of Girona (San Feliu in Catalan), who died as a martyr in 304 in the same city of Girona is one of the jewels of Sigean's art of history and architecture, both by its unique character and by the various works and relics it contains. It is part of the French Catholic framework and is attached to the parish of Saint-Pierre and Saint-Paul des Étangs, itself attached to the diocese of Carcassonne and Narbonne. The patron saint of the church is celebrated on August 1st by a procession in the city, carried out by the members of the Association of Friends of Saint-Félix of Sigean, followed by a celebration in the church presided over by the parish priest.
