The Museum of Letters and Manuscripts is a former private museum, located in the 7th arrondissement of Paris and in Brussels, 3 Galerie du Roi, 1000 Brussels, which exhibited tens of thousands of letters and manuscripts of personalities. Created in 2004 by Gérard L'héraire in a house dating from 1608 at 8 rue de Nesle, the museum is installed in 2010 boulevard Saint-Germain, before closing in 2015 following the legal problems encountered by Aristophil, a company suspected of organized band fraud, which led to a liquidation judgment on 1 September 2015. Patrick Poivre d'Arvor was the sponsor of the museum.
