Château du Touvet

The Château du Touvet is a former 13th-century castle that has been rebuilt several times over the town of Touvet in the department of Isère and the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. The entire castle, including Cordoba leather decoration of one of the halls, the remains of the former fortifications and the park, is classified as historical monuments by decree of 16 November 1964. Water stairs are classified as historic monuments by order of 17 March 1959.

Private property, it has been inhabited by the same family for over 500 years. The castle and gardens are however open to the public.
