The garden of the Vasterival is located in Sainte-Marguerite-sur-Mer, in the Seine-Maritime, in the valley of the Vasterival. Private, this garden was created by Princess Margaretha, known as Greta Sturdza, born Kvaal (Oslo, 27 April 1915 - Sainte-Marguerite sur Mer, 4 December 2009), vice-president of the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS), president of the International Dendrology Society, wife of Prince Georges Michel Sturdza (Ostende, 29 July 1912 - Dieppe, 1 June 1995) in the park of the former house of Albert Roussel, which she occupies from 1955 to 2009. This garden, set on a partly flat and partly hilly plot, consists of groves interspersed with carefully mowed lawns and adorned with mixed borders.

It mixes trees, shrubs and flowers, chosen for their adaptation to the terrain and to offer the site a pleasure in any season. It is characterized by the very wide variety of plants used, sometimes rare in France. This arboretum is designed to be maintained with simple methods, without chemicals.
