Château de Montfort is a 13th century castle located in the French commune of Montigny-Montfort in the Côte-d'Or department. This fortress is perched on a rocky plateau at 317 meters above sea level overlooking the three valleys of Dandarge, Ronce and Louère. The castle with unique architecture has had illustrious owners and housed the Holy Shroud for many years.
