Montbard Castle is located in Montbard, in Côte-d'Or (Bourgogne-Franche-Comté). What remains of the castle of the late 13th or early 14th century was transformed in the 18th century by Buffon into a three-hectare park, the "Buffon Park". Today the castle is part of the whole museum-site Buffon.
