abbaye de Hohenbourg
The Abbey of Hohenbourg (Altitona or Altodunum in the former Celtic designation), still known as "Mont-Sainte-Odile convent", stands in the French commune of Ottrott in the department of Bas-Rhin in the Grand Est region. The abbey founded in 680 by Saint Odile, will grow exceptionally during the second half of the 12th century with the arrival in 1150 of the Abbess Relinde (died 1176), which introduced the rule of St Augustine into the community.
