The Castle of Landsberg or Castle of Landsberg is located on the Ban of the municipality of Heiligenstein, in the Lower Rhine (Natural Region: Subvosgian Hills East), and was part of the belt of castles protecting the Abbey of St. Odile. The castle has been classified as historical monuments since October 1965. Called Schlosselblum in Alsatian, a rare Mediterranean plant in northern Europe, the Winter Eranthe or Eranthis hyemalis, grows on the outskirts of this castle and blooms in carpets every year between January and March.
