Animagic was an attraction in Disneyland Paris' Walt Disney Studios Park. Closed on January 31, 2016, it was replaced in July 2016 by Mickey and the Magician. It was located in Studio 3, a Spanish Revival architectural theatre, such as Hollywood cinemas in the 1930s. The day-to-day show in this room brought visitors into Disney's imagination and paid tribute to Disney's animated films. The story told Donald's intrusion into Disney's magical world. The show used a Japanese manipulation technique called "Burraku" and the Prague "Black Light Theatre" tradition. This scenario was quite close to that of the Mickey's PhilharMagic attraction opened in 2003 at Magic Kingdom, in 2005 at Hong Kong Disneyland and in 2011 at Tokyo Disneyland.
