allée couverte de Keryvon
The covered driveway of Keryvon, also known as Kerizelan covered driveway is located in Pleumeur-Bodou in the French department of Côtes-d'Armor.
Description: The covered alley is very dilapidated. It is 9 m long by 2 m wide and 1 m high on average. It has seven orthostats and a cover table. The entrance, to the east, is materialized by a transverse slab. All slabs, of granite of local origin, show traces of cutting. The room is 7 m long. It is bounded by two orthostats on the north side, three on the south side and a bedside slab. The whole is only covered by a single cover table (3 m long and 2.75 m wide and 0.50 m thick) inclined southward. The northern wall of the aisle appears to be extended by another slab disappearing in the slope. It could be a terminal cell wall. As with the covered driveway on Grand Island, slabs surround the room very closely. It could be a peristallith or a structure internal to the old tumulus.
