Poërop Arboretum

The World Trees at Huelgoat (formerly arboretum of Poërop) is located in Huelgoat in the Monts d'Arrée. In this park, 3,600 species of trees and shrubs from five continents are distributed into thematic collections like the Himalayan Valley. Throughout the year, the site offers various animations related to botany. There is a collection of Eucalyptus from the Australian bush, tea trees with botanical camellias, bamboo groves and in particular bamboo called Drepanostachyum merretii (species dedicated to the designer of this park), rose groves, Yunnan's condimentary plant gardens, a therapeutic plant garden for a nearby retirement home and botanical collections such as that of maples classified by the CCVS.
