Basilica of Notre-Dame de Marceille

Our Lady of Marceille Basilica is a southern Gothic Catholic basilica dedicated to Mary, located in the municipality of Limoux. His Black Virgin attracted a pilgrimage that was very popular locally. A miraculous source, supposed to cure eyeaches, was associated with him.

This basilica has been listed as historic monuments since 1948. The basilica (chapel) and its surroundings have been listed as natural sites since 1943.
