Minor basilica
basilique du Sacré-Cœur de Nancy
The Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Nancy is a minor basilica of Catholic worship and Romanesque-Byzantine style, inspired by the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Montmartre in Paris. It is mainly due to three men: Bishop Charles-François Turinaz, Canon Henri Blaise and architect Anthony Rougieux. It is located west of the city of Nancy, near its border with the municipality of Laxou, in the district Poincaré - Foch - Anatole France - Cross of Burgundy. It is dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
