Stadium de Vitrolles

Vitrolles Stadium is a multi-purpose hall located in Vitrolles, Bouches-du-Rhône. Built by architect Rudy Ricciotti, it is a black concrete building, built on the site of an old bauxite dump. Notably built for the OM Vitrolles handball club, the building did not survive the club's balance sheet deposit in 1996 and has been abandoned since 2000. Studies are under way concerning its possible reopening.
