Cairn de Gavrinis

Cairn de Gavrinis is a megalith located on the island of Gavrinis in the municipality of Larmor-Baden in the Morbihan department of Brittany. The Cairn de Gavrinis has an exceptional décor, it is the most sumptuously decorated megalithic monument in Brittany and one of the most spectacular in Europe. It is classified as historical monuments by order of 19 July 1901. In July 2025, the cairn was included on the UNESCO World Heritage List in the good of the megaliths of Carnac and the banks of Morbihan.
