chapelle Pointue
The Pointue Chapel is a Catholic chapel on Réunion Island, French overseas department, in the southwest Indian Ocean. Located in Saint-Paul, in the Villèle district, it was once part of the Desbassayns (Villèle estate), a colonial plantation owned by the rich Panon Desbassayns family of Richemont. The chapel is classified as a historic monument on August 12, 1970, at the same time as the prefecture hotel of Saint-Denis, making them the two oldest historical monuments in Reunion.
