Hérisson Castle

The château d'Hérisson is a former 11th-century castle, rebuilt several times, whose remains stand on the territory of the French commune of Hérisson in the department of Allier, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. At the beginning of the 21st century, only the ruins of this castle remained. An association, "Sauvage du château feodal d'Hérisson", works on its restoration, under the supervision of the chief architect of historical monuments. Its ruins are classified as historical monuments.
