Château de Septème

The Château de Septème is a 14th century old castle, renovated in the 15th and 16th centuries, which stands on the town of Septème in the department of Isère, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. The site concentrates the ruins of a first 11th-century castle, a 13th-century enclosure and the current castle dating back to the 14th-15th century. As historical monuments; the ramparts, the remains of the first castle and the round road of the old city are classified by order of 12 February 1942; the castle, the concierge and the park are registered by order of 27 February 1947.
