About

Description: The building consists of a rectangle flanked by two towers to the north, and a round tower to the south containing the 14th century staircase. The south facade is pierced by several rectangular windows and mortals. A stone engraved with coat of arms was found in 1985 above the entrance door; It would be the arms of the family of The Tower of Beins. Inside there are beautiful fireplaces, including that of the large room on the first floor, with its entanglement supported by fine columns with decorated capitals. This chimney was raised during recent restorations and the stone slabs were recovered following the renovation of a chapel in Aubenas. The stone slab screw staircase ends with a "sarrasine" umbel vault. From there, a small door leads into the attic. Website of the SCI owner
