Château du Schlossberg

Schlossberg Castle is located in the French commune of Forbach, in the eastern part of the Moselle department. It is also the name of the hill where it is built, transformed today, the hill-witness on which rises 134 meters high. The tower of the same name is in front of the Gaubiving plateau, an advanced element of the Lorrain Plateau. Nicknamed the green nipple, it dominates the city of Forbach but also the buttonhole of the Warndt and the main lines of communication between Metz and the German cities.
