Cinematheque of Toulouse

The Toulouse cinematheque is an institution founded in 1964 by passionate film lovers gathered around Raymond Borde (1920-2004). It is defined by the two fundamental missions that characterize any cinematheque: the conservation and dissemination of cinematographic heritage. It is one of the three main French film archives with the Heritage Directorate of the Centre national du cinéma et de l'image animée (CNC) and the Cinémathèque française. It is located at 69, rue du Taur in Toulouse, in the Occitanie region.
