The Cité de l'Economie or Citéco is a French museum dedicated to the economy and located in Paris. Opened on May 15, 2019, it is open to the public on June 14, 2019. This educational place, designed to explain the concepts and mechanisms of the economy, is financed by a patronage of the Banque de France. It is housed in the Gaillard Hotel, a historic 19th century monument built in a neo-Renaissance style in the 17th arrondissement of Paris, which is the subject of eight years of work before the opening of Citéco.
