About

Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption Church is an 18th-century church located in Autun, Saône-et-Loire, France. It overlooks the Terrace, southwest of Champ-de-Mars Square, in the city centre. Built to replace a 17th-century chapel, it was originally the private chapel of the Jesuit college, now Bonaparte High School.

The church lost its religious use during the Revolution and was restored to Catholic worship under the Consulate. It is now the seat of one of the two parishes in the city. Its architecture is typical of Jesuit art.

Three statues of its furniture were classified as objects of historical monuments in 1931 before the building was entirely classified in 1943.
