La Croix-Catelan was one of the Paris stadiums of the Racing Club de France, located on the edge of the Pré Catelan, in an enclave of six hectares within the Bois de Boulogne, attributed since 1882. Today the management of the site is granted to Lagardère SA, which has created for the management of the site an entity named Lagardère Paris Racing. This omnisports package includes more than forty tennis courts and two swimming pools (including one Olympic), a basketball field, a football field, several volleyball courts and several training rooms. In August 2007, the swimming pool of the complex hosts the first edition of the Open de Paris de Swim which was organized there until 2012.
