The covered driveway of the Grèves de Frécul was initially located in Barbuise, before being moved to the courtyard of the Saint-Loup museum in Troyes.

Location: Originally, the covered driveway was located 100 m north of the dolmen des Grèves de Frécul, east of the farm of Frécul (in the commune of La Saulsotte, about 3.5 km east of the village) but in the wood of Charnier (in the commune of Barbuise, about 3.5 km south-south-west of the village). The immediate surroundings, in this alluvial plain of the Seine, were largely occupied in the Neolithic and Bronze Age:
