ermitage Saint-Georges del Pla del Carner
The Hermitage Saint-Georges del Pla del Carner is a Romanesque chapel in Céret, France. Founded in 1387, the chapel welcomes its first hermit in 1401. It was listed in 1407 as Sent Jordi del plà del Carner and in 1688 as hermita de Sant Jordi as hermitage dependent on the Diocese of Elne. The French Revolution prohibited hermit activity and ended her religious function.
