The Botanical Garden of Bayonne, or Botanical Garden of the Walls, is a 3,000 m2 municipal garden located in the heart of the protected area between the Cathedral of Sainte Marie and the ramparts of Bayonne (aisle of the Tarides, near the monument to the dead) erected by Vauban, avenue du Onze-Novembre. It is served by the free shuttle from the city centre line at stop 7. Entry is free (access for the disabled) but regulated (no entry to dogs) from Tuesday to Saturday from mid-April to mid-October from 10am to 6pm. The entrance to the garden is free and its full visit can take between 1 and 2 hours: from which to observe all the plants.
