About

The Ice Cave of the Sea of Glace is an artificial ice cave in Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, France, dug every year in the Sea of Glace since the mid-19th century. The annual renewal is made necessary by the flow of the glacier, which is about 70 meters per year. It hosts 350,000 visitors a year, making it one of the most visited sites in the department.
