Château Laffitte Carcasset is an exceptional bourgeois wine, located in the appellation AOC saint-estèphe. Chartreuse of the eighteenth century surrounded by vines planted in the middle of the gravel plateau of Saint-Estèphe, the Château Laffitte Carcasset has been producing wine since 1781, when Jean Laffitte bought the estate and formed the vineyard. The name of the domain has seen several other variations throughout its history, such as Carcasset Jacques, Carcasset Alçuet, Carcasset Laffitte, Laffitte Carcasset Saint-Estèphe or Laffitte Saint-Estèphe.

History: On the maps of Cassini, a vineyard was built in 1759 at the place called "Carcasset" within the land of Saint-Estèphe. From its creation to the present day, many owners have succeeded each other at the head of the property and have all, in their own way, participated in the fame of the estate and shaped its current character.
