Fontaine d'Amboise

The Fountain of Amboise is a 16th-century fountain in the town of Clermont-Ferrand, located on Place Olympe-de-Gouges. Built in Volvic stone and Gothic and Renaissance style, it is surmounted in the 19th century by a statue of man holding a club and a shield. It was moved four times during its history and completely restored in 2019.
