The Botanical Garden of Tours is located to the west of the city boulevard Tonnellé, opposite the Bretonneau Hospital. It is located on an old wetland once crossed by Sainte-Anne Creek. This stream directly linked the Loire and the Cher and fed the moats of the Château de Plessis-lès-Tours.
