L'Oxygénarium

La Descent du Nile (formerly L'Oxygenarium until 2026) is an aquatic attraction resembling traditional buoys, located in the French theme park Parc Asterix in Plailly, Oise.

Located west of the park (at the base in the universe "Through Time" before this section is attached to the Egyptian neighborhood), this Spinning Rapids type attraction was built by WhiteWater West Industries in 1999. After boarding the passengers, the twenty six-seater buoys climb 20 m high and 70 m long and reach a slide for a 195 m long descent. The total length of the course is 400 m. The attraction's capacity is 1,000 people per hour. Access to the attraction is prohibited for children less than one metre. This attraction received the Thea award for the "Restricted Budget Implementation" in 2001.
