La Défonce (sometimes spelled La Défonse) is a work by French artist François Morellet. It is one of the works of art of the Defense in France, near the Great Arch. It consists of a set of steel bars that make up a simple rectangular shape, inclined and half buried in the ground. One of the bars pierces a nearby building.
