The western shore of Lake Chalain, France, is one of 111 prehistoric Palafittic sites around the Unesco World Heritage Alps. The site is located on the west shore of Lake Chalain, in the Jura massif, between the communes of Fontenu, Marigny, and Doucier, in the Jura, in Burgundy-Franche-Comté.
