The Grand Lac de Clairvaux is a grouping of more than 18 prehistoric palafitic sites dating from the Neolithic, distributed around the Grand Lac de Clairvaux, located in France, in the Jura department, on the commune of Clairvaux-les-Lacs. This site brings together a set of lake towns around the Grand Lac de Clairvaux. It was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site on 27 June 2011 with 110 other Palafittic sites around the Alpine Arch in Germany, Austria, France, Italy, Slovenia and Switzerland.
