The Marcel Proust Museum, or house of Aunt Léonie, is a house housing the Marcel Proust Museum of Illers-Combray in Eure-et-Loir, where the writer (1871-1922) spent his childhood holidays between 1877 and 1880. A major source of inspiration for his work In search of lost time, the house, owned by the Société des Amis de Marcel Proust, has been listed as historical monuments since 1961 and labeled Maisons des Illustres in 2011. The Marcel Proust Museum was also named Musée de France.
