Saint-Georges-et-Saint-Pierre Church is a Catholic church located in Dangeau, France.
History: The church is mentioned for the first time in a 1064 charter of a foundation of a priory-curtain dependent on the Benedictine abbey of Marmoutier de Tours. Herlebaud, lord of Dangeau, made himself a monk on his deathbed and gave half of the church, land, relics and books. After 1064, there are only donations and confirmations of properties and tithes. These acts decreased after the second half of the 13th century. The priory of Dangeau was reunited with that of Vieuvicq at the latest in 1385. It was abolished in the Revolution. There is no documentation on the construction of the church. His style made some authors admit that it was built at the end of the 11th century, however, Pierre Moyat notes that it was built in a single construction campaign. The portal carved in the 3rd span of the south side, limestone, is 12th century. His style was close to that of the southern gate of the Madeleine de Châteaudun church.
