Legru and Lhenoret's tomb

The funerary monument of Legru and L'Henoret is a remarkable funeral monument of the Père-Lachaise cemetery. It is located on the main avenue (Division 1) close to the main gate. The architect-sculptor Marcel Rouillère (1868-1932) was instructed to avoid the traditional forms and figures of funeral art.

The version photographed by François Antoine Vizzavona (1876-1961) includes a medallion representing a man. A presentation at the French artists' fair in 1909, Rouillère received an honourable mention.
